Selected HairCity rental wigs may be professionally styled for your booking, subject to the wig's construction, condition and rental requirements.

Because rental wigs must remain suitable for future customers, only HairCity-approved styling methods may be used.

Permanent alterations, unauthorized cutting, colouring, bleaching or chemical processing are not permitted on rental wigs.

If you want a particular look for your rental, discuss it with HairCity before your booking so we can determine whether the style is suitable.

Styling Wigs Purchased Elsewhere

HairCity may also style suitable human hair wigs purchased from other suppliers.

Third-party wigs are subject to assessment before service.

Because we cannot verify the original hair quality, processing history or construction of every wig purchased elsewhere, some styling requests may not be suitable or may produce different results from reference photographs.

These are different services.

Your wig needs deeper attention because it is tangled, dull, dry, heavily coated with product or generally difficult to manage.

A revamp may include cleansing and conditioning before styling.

Styling vs Installation

Wig Styling and Wig Installation are also different.

Wig Styling focuses primarily on the appearance and hairstyle of the wig.

Wig Installation focuses on positioning and securing the wig on the wearer and creating an appropriate finished hairline.

You may book styling by itself or combine it with installation where available.

Styling vs Customization

Styling generally involves temporary or reversible changes to the appearance of the wig.

Customization involves more significant or permanent changes to the wig itself.

Services such as substantial cutting, hairline customization, lace modification, colouring or other permanent alterations may therefore be treated as Wig Customization rather than standard styling.
