1. Choose Your Wig

Browse the HairCity Rental Wig Collection and find the look you love.

You can explore available rental wigs by characteristics such as:

2. Select Your Rental Dates

Once you've found your wig, choose when you need it.

Rental availability is date-dependent, which means a wig may be available for one period but already reserved by another customer for another.

Select the available rental period that works for you and review your booking details carefully before proceeding.

Renting for an important event?

If you're attending a wedding, graduation, birthday, photoshoot or another time-sensitive occasion, we strongly recommend booking early.

Popular styles and dates may be reserved in advance.

3. Review Your Rental Price & Security Deposit

Before confirming your booking, you'll be able to review the applicable charges.

Your rental may include:

Rental Fee
The amount you pay to use the wig for the agreed rental period.

Refundable Security Deposit
An amount held as security while the wig is in your care.

The security deposit is separate from the rental fee and is normally refundable after the wig is returned on time and passes HairCity's return assessment, subject to the applicable rental terms.

Any applicable delivery or additional service charges will also be communicated during the booking process.

4. Complete Your Booking

Once you're happy with your wig, dates and rental details, complete your booking using the available checkout and payment options.

Please make sure that your:

  • Name
  • Mobile number
  • Delivery details
  • Rental dates
  • Event date, where relevant

are correct before confirming your booking.

A rental is only considered confirmed once the applicable booking requirements and payments have been completed.

5. We Prepare Your Wig

Now it's our turn.

Before your rental wig is released, HairCity prepares it for your booking.

6. Receive or Collect Your Wig

Depending on the options available for your booking, your wig may be delivered or made available for collection.

When you receive your rental, inspect it promptly and make sure:

  • You have received the correct wig.
  • The wig is in the expected condition.
  • Any included rental items are present.
  • There are no apparent problems that need to be reported.

If something appears incorrect, contact HairCity as soon as possible.

Wear your HairCity rental and enjoy your look for the agreed rental period.

Just remember: you're renting it, not buying it.

Please treat the wig carefully and follow the rental care instructions provided.

8. Take Care of Your Rental Wig

You don't need to be afraid of wearing your rental normally—it is meant to be enjoyed.

However, because the wig must eventually be prepared for another HairCity customer, certain permanent alterations are not permitted.

Unless specifically authorized by HairCity, do not:

  • Cut or permanently alter the wig
  • Cut or modify the lace
  • Colour or bleach the hair
  • Chemically process the hair
  • Carry out permanent customization
  • Attempt structural repairs
  • Use products or methods likely to damage the wig

If you're unsure whether you can do something to your rental wig, contact HairCity before doing it.

9. Want Your Wig Professionally Installed or Styled?

HairCity can help you complete your look.

Professional Wig Installation and Wig Styling services may be available for selected rental wigs.

This can be particularly useful for weddings, graduations, photoshoots and other important occasions.

Because rental wigs must remain suitable for future bookings, HairCity-approved installation and styling methods should be used.

10. Return Your Wig on Time

When your rental period ends, return the wig according to the instructions provided with your booking.

The wig must be returned by the agreed return date.

Please return:

  • The rental wig
  • Any supplied accessories
  • Any other items identified as part of the rental package

Do I need to wash it first?

Generally, no.

HairCity handles the professional cleaning and preparation of rental wigs between bookings unless you're specifically instructed otherwise.

Simply follow the return instructions provided with your rental.

11. We Inspect the Returned Wig

Once your rental is returned, HairCity performs a return assessment.

We may check:

  • Overall wig condition
  • Hair condition
  • Lace condition
  • Cap condition
  • Whether unauthorized alterations were made
  • Whether all supplied items were returned
  • Whether the wig was returned on time
  • Whether there are any outstanding rental charges

Normal use consistent with HairCity's rental conditions should not automatically result in a deposit deduction.

12. Receive Your Security Deposit Back

Once the wig has been returned and successfully assessed, your refundable security deposit can be processed.

Where there is no significant damage, loss, unauthorized alteration, late charge or other outstanding amount, the applicable deposit will be refunded according to HairCity's deposit terms.

Processing time may depend on the payment or refund method used.

And that's it.

You rented. You looked amazing. You returned.

What Happens If I Return the Wig Late?

Rental wigs may be booked by another customer after your rental.

Returning your wig on time is therefore very important.

Late returns may result in additional charges in accordance with HairCity's rental terms.

If something happens and you believe you cannot return your wig on time, contact HairCity immediately rather than simply keeping it beyond the agreed period.

Can I Extend My Rental?

Possibly.

If you've fallen in love with the look and want to keep your rental for longer, contact HairCity before your scheduled return date.

An extension may be approved if the wig has not already been reserved by another customer.

Additional rental charges may apply.

Extensions are only valid once confirmed by HairCity.

What Happens If I Damage the Wig?

Accidents can happen.

If your rental wig is damaged, contact HairCity as soon as possible.

Do not attempt major repairs yourself.

Damage beyond reasonable wear may result in a deduction from your security deposit or additional charges depending on the nature and extent of the damage.

HairCity aims to assess returned wigs fairly and distinguish reasonable use from significant damage or unauthorized alteration.

What Happens If the Wig Is Lost?

If a rental wig is lost, not returned or damaged beyond economical repair, you may be responsible for the applicable replacement value in accordance with HairCity's rental terms.

The security deposit may be applied toward amounts due.

Where the amount owed exceeds the deposit, an outstanding balance may remain payable under the rental agreement.

Can I Rent for a Wedding or Special Event?

Absolutely.

Special occasions are one of the biggest reasons to rent.

Rental wigs are professionally cleaned, sanitized, inspected and prepared between customers according to our rental-care procedures.

Customers are not expected to wash rental wigs before returning them unless specifically instructed otherwise.

Should I Buy or Rent?
